The theme of this years World Space Week is ‘Women in Space’. To celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of women to the space sector and sciences, Dark Space Planetarium are holding our first ever public event – a screening of ‘Hidden Figures’. This inspiring film is about a team of female African-American mathematicians who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program.
